Hawaii was the 50th State to enter the union on the 21st August, 1959. Hawaii is a tropical paradise situated in the Pacific Ocean. The islands are extremely mountainous and lush with vegetation. Hurricanes are rare in Hawaii, making this an ideallic location for a tropical holiday.
Hawaii is famous for the friendliness of the local people. There are six major islands which can be visited. These are Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii’s Big island. Each island has its own personality. If you can't choose which one to go to then maybe a cruise

Due to Hawaii's tropical climate, Hawaii is perfect for a vacation / holiday at any time. However, the winter months between November to March are probably the busiest as this is when the mainland of the USA take their extended winter breaks. Hawaii is also popular for surfing between these months. In the summer, the seas are calmer which makes family holidays ideal.
